Terms & Conditions

Article 1 – Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the following meanings:

Consumer: the natural person who is not acting in the course of a professional or commercial activity and who concludes a distance contract with the company.

Company: Webidu, located at Regent Smitsstraat 110, 5272BD Sint-Michielsgestel, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 88518906, VAT number: NL004617060B72.

Distance contract: any contract concluded within the framework of a system organised by the company for distance selling, using exclusively one or more means of distance communication.

VAT: value added tax, as applied in the Netherlands and in other relevant jurisdictions.

Article 2 – Applicability

These Terms and Conditions apply to every offer made by the company and to every distance contract and every order concluded between the company and the consumer.

Before a distance contract is concluded, the text of these Terms and Conditions is made available to the consumer. If this is not reasonably possible, the company will indicate where these Terms and Conditions can be consulted electronically.

Article 3 – Prices and VAT

All prices shown on the website are exclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.

For products shipped from outside the European Union (EU), the consumer is responsible for all import duties, customs charges and import VAT, unless otherwise stated.

If the consumer resides outside the EU and places an order, additional VAT and customs charges may apply. These costs are borne by the consumer.

The company does not charge Dutch VAT when the obligation to pay VAT lies with the consumer. This means that the consumer is solely responsible for paying import VAT and customs duties upon delivery.

Article 4 – Import duties and customs liability

When products are shipped directly from suppliers located outside the EU, the consumer is responsible for all import-related costs, including, but not limited to, import VAT and customs duties.

The consumer accepts that these costs are not the responsibility of Webidu and must be settled with the competent authorities.

If an order is held by customs due to unpaid duties or taxes, the consumer is solely responsible for this, including any delays.

Article 5 – Consumer information

Webidu will inform the consumer, before purchase, of any possible additional costs, such as customs duties and import VAT. This information will be available on the website and in these Terms and Conditions.

The consumer is responsible for checking the import regulations and tax obligations of their country before placing an order.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the consumer acknowledges being fully informed of any possible additional costs and cannot claim a refund from Webidu for these charges.

Article 6 – Delivery and shipping

Delivery is made to the address provided by the consumer. It is the consumer's responsibility to provide a correct and complete delivery address.

Webidu works with international suppliers and logistics partners. Delivery times may vary and are given for guidance only.

Webidu is not responsible for delays caused by customs procedures or by the consumer's non-payment of import charges.

Article 7 – Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, payments must be made within 7 working days of placing the order.

The consumer must immediately inform Webidu of any error in the payment information provided.

In the event of non-payment, Webidu reserves the right to charge reasonable collection costs.

Article 8 – Returns and import VAT

In the event of a product being returned, Webidu is not responsible for refunding customs duties or import VAT already paid. The consumer must request this refund directly from the competent tax authorities.

Returns are only accepted if the product is unused, undamaged and returned in its original packaging.

Return costs are borne by the consumer, unless otherwise agreed.

Article 9 – Guarantee and liability

Webidu guarantees that the products comply with the contract, with the specifications stated in the offer and with reasonable standards of quality and usability.

The guarantee does not apply if the products have been used inappropriately, exposed to external influences or repaired by the consumer.

Webidu cannot be held liable for indirect damage, including consequential damage or financial loss.

Article 10 – Compliance and legislation

The consumer acknowledges being informed of the applicable VAT laws and of their obligation to comply with them when importing products.

Webidu complies with all applicable laws and regulations and cannot be held liable for fines or tax assessments imposed on the consumer by customs or tax authorities.

In case of doubt regarding tax regulations or import rules, the consumer is advised to consult a tax adviser or the local authorities.

Article 11 – Complaints

Complaints regarding the performance of the contract must be submitted to Webidu within 7 days of discovering the problem and must be described clearly and completely.

Webidu will respond within 14 days. If a longer processing time is required, the consumer will be informed of this with an estimate of the time needed for resolution.

Article 12 – Disputes

Contracts between the company and the consumer governed by these Terms and Conditions are subject to Dutch law.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

By placing an order with Ravolla, the consumer accepts these Terms and Conditions.
